Father, you bless us with the gift of life. Father, we give you thanks. You give us your Son as our Saviour. Father, we give you thanks…
Many records tell of the favor granted to those who wear the Cord. We read of striking cures; for instance, when wound about diseased limbs, the Cord has driven out the pain and healed them. There is also the story of the child who fell into a pool of water, but was preserved because of the Cord of St. Philomena around his waist. The Cord itself remained perfectly dry.
The White Cord of Saint Joseph can be worn around the waist for purity or around the shoulders for obedience. It has seven knots indicating the Seven Joys and Sorrows of St. Joseph. Any priest can bless the girdle, after which when worn for the first time, enrolls one in the Archconfraternity of the Cord of Saint Joseph; the formula “Priest’s Blessing of a Cincture” found in the Roman Ritual can be used for this.

Praying St. Therese’s of Lisieux Rosary Chaplet has been powerful in many people’s experience. St. Therese always said she would spend her time in heaven doing good on earth. Her “little way” an inspiration to many who call on her intercession. It is commonly believed that St Therese grants the sign of a rose to those who practice this devotion during a period of nine to twenty-four days, as a proof that the petition is granted. The sign of a rose or some other visible sign is not always evident, but many persons have received special graces by reciting this chaplet.

For Jesus, there is no hopeless situation! He can heal even the most wounded heart! We all only want true love, regardless of the state to which the Lord calls us, therefore we entrust ourselves to Him who created us – the One Expert – Jesus Christ, asking that He teaches us how to love and that He heals our wounded hearts.
“Only a pure heart can fully accomplish the great work of love which is marriage.” – Pope John Paul II
Recite morning and evening, three Hail Marys in honour of the three great privileges bestowed upon Our Blessed Mother by the most Blessed Trinity with this invocation at the end: for the morning: “O my Mother preserve me from mortal sin during this day.” For the evening: “O my Mother preserve me from mortal sin during this night.” This practice was revealed to St. Melchtilde (13th century) while she was beseeching Our Blessed Mother to assist her in her hour of death. Our Lady appeared to her and said: “I will, certainly. But I also want you to say three special Hail Marys to me every day.
Meditations on the Passion of Christ from the book“ The Passion” that was dictated by Jesus to Catalina Rivas.
“…Allow yourself to be embraced by My most ardent desire that all souls will come and purify themselves in the water of penance, and that the feeling of confidence and not fear may penetrate them, because I am a God of Mercy and I am always ready to receive them in My Heart. When you do what I ask of you, I am near you…”
Our Lady never abandons her children, and the most unlikely places have been chosen by her to display the wonders she can perform for those who are devoted to her. The instrument she used for her conquest was Bartolo Longo (1841–1926), who would at first appear to be a most unlikely choice…. Bartolo arranged for the building of a magnificent church. While it was being built, three people were healed by outstanding miracles.
It begins twenty Saturdays preceding the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, 7th October. Our Lady Queen of Rosary blesses those who practice the 20 Saturdays Devotion with special favours, as evidenced by numerous testimonies…. This devotion spread all over the world mainly thanks to Bl. Bartola Longo (…)

O St. Joseph, protector of those in agony, take pity on those who at this very moment when I pray to thee are engaged intheir last combat. O blessed Joseph, take pity on my soul too when the hour of the final battle shall arrive for me. Then, O my holy patron, do not abandon me, but grant me thine assistance; show that thou art my good father, and obtain that my Divine Savior may receive me with mercy into that abode where the elect enjoy a life that shall never end. O glorious St. Rita, your pleadings before the divine crucifix have been known to grant favors that many would call the impossible. Lovely St. Rita, so humble, so pure, so devoted in your love for thy crucified Jesus, speak on my behalf for my petition which seems so impossible from my humbled position. (Here mention your request ). Be propitious, O glorious St. Rita, to my petition, showing thy power with God on behalf of thy supplicant. Be lavish to me, as thou has been in so many wonderful cases for the greater glory of God. I promise, dear St. Rita, if my petition is granted, to glorify thee, by making known thy favor, to bless and sing thy praises forever. Relying then upon thy merits and power before the Sacred Heart of Jesus I pray. Amen.

O Loving Jesus, meek Lamb of God, I a miserable sinner, salute and worship the most Sacred Wound of Thy Shoulder on which Thou didst bear Thy heavy Cross, which so tore Thy Flesh and laid bare Thy Bones as to inflict on Thee an anguish greater than any other Wound of Thy Most Blessed Body. I adore Thee, O Jesus most sorrowful; I praise and glorify Thee and give Thee thanks for this most sacred and painful Wound, beseeching Thee by that exceeding pain and by the crushing burden of Thy heavy Cross to be merciful to me, a sinner, to forgive me all my mortal and venial sins, and to lead me on towards Heaven along the Way of Thy Cross. Holy Spirit, give me the grace of unwavering trust when I think of Our Lord’s merits, and of fearful trust when I think of my own weakness. O Sweetest Lord Jesus Christ, source of all virtues, lover of virgins, most powerful conqueror of demons, most severe extirpator of vice! deign to cast Thine eyes upon my weakness, and through the intercession of Mary most blessed, Mother and Virgin, and of Thy beloved spouse St. Agatha, glorious virgin and martyr, grant me the aid of Thy heavenly grace, in order that I may learn to despise all earthly things, and to love what is heavenly; to oppose vice and to be proof against temptation; to walk firmly in the path of virtue, not to seek honors, to shun pleasures, to bewail my past offenses, to keep far from the occasions of evil, to keep free from bad habits, to seek the company of the good, and persevere in righteousness, so that, by the assistance of Thy grace, I may deserve the crown of eternal life, together with St. Agatha and all the saints, forever and ever, in Thy kingdom. the faith we have been offered
and give us something of your humility
and gratitude for all God does.

This precious treasury of prayers in honour of St. Joseph is to be prayed for 30 days, commemorating the earthly thirty years which St. Joseph spent in the company of our Lord. St. Teresa of Avila vouched for its efficaciousness, writing “If you really want to believe in it, prove it to yourself by reciting the Novena and you will be finally convinced.” It takes approximately 20-25 minutes and “the extraordinary graces obtained by this prayer are innumerable“.

This rosary or chaplet was revealed in 1929 and 1930, by Our Lord and His most holy Mother to Sister Amalia in Campina, Brazil, and was confirmed as supernatural by Bishop Campos Baretto. Our Lords words to Sister Amalia on November 8, 1929 were: “My daughter, whatever I am asked through the tears of My Mother, I shall give lovingly.” On March 8, 1930 the most Pure Mother stated: “Through this rosary the devil will be subdued and the power of Hell will be destroyed. Prepare yourself for this great combat.” Today the devil has much power because we have forgotten sin and no longer believe that Satan exists.
Father and Teacher of the Young,
In need of special help,
I appeal with confidence to you,
Saint John Bosco,
for I require not only spiritual graces,
but also temporal ones, and particularly…
St. Thomas Aquinas,
patron of students and Catholic schools,
I thank God for the gifts
of light and knowledge he bestowed on you,
which you used to build up the Church in love.
I thank God, too,
for the wealth and richness of theological teaching
you left in your writings.
Not only were you a great teacher,
you lived a life of virtue
and you made holiness the desire of your heart.
If I cannot imitate you
in the brilliance of your academic pursuits,
I can follow you in the humility and charity which marked your life.
As St. Paul said,
charity is the greatest gift,
and it is open to all.
Pray for me that I might grow in holiness and charity.
Pray also for Catholic schools,
and for all students.
In particular, please obtain the favor I ask during this novena.
O St. Paul, the Apostle,
preacher of truth and Doctor of the Gentiles,
intercede for us to God, who chose you.
You are a vessel of election,
O St. Paul, the Apostle.
Repeat the following Novena prayers every day for 9 consecutive days.
O glorious St. Agnes,
by the living faith which animated you from your tender years
and rendered you so pleasing to God
that you did merit a martyr’s crown:
obtain for us the grace to keep our holy faith pure within us
and to profess ourselves Christians in both word and work.
May our open confession of Jesus before men
cause Him to bear a favorable witness to us
before His eternal Father…
This devotion originated in the heart of St. Teresa of Avila (+1582) and of St. John of the Cross (+1591) who handed it over to the Carmelite Order as a spiritual treasure. In 1624 this devotion was revived in the Carmel of Prague. In their chapel the Carmelites of Prague venerated a statue of the Infant Jesus and used to meditate on the words of Jesus: “Unless you become like one of these little children you will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven.” From the beginning onwards many favours and graces were received which brought thousands of other people to this statue of the Infant Jesus.
Adorable Heart of Jesus, glowing with love for us and inflamed with zeal for our salvation. O Heart that understands the misery to which our sins have brought us, infinitely rich in mercy to heal the wounds of our souls, behold me humbly kneeling before You to express the sorrow that fills my heart for the coldness and indifference with which I have so long returned the numberless benefits which You have bestowed upon me. The plenary indulgence is granted to the faithful under the usual conditions (sacramental confession, Eucharistic Communion, and prayer for the Pope’s intentions) to Christians who, with a spirit detached from any sin, participate in the Year of St. Joseph on these occasions and manners indicated by the Apostolic Penitentiary.
Hail, Guardian of the Redeemer,
Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
To you God entrusted his only Son;
in you Mary placed her trust;
with you Christ became man (…)
8th December “Hour Of Grace For The World” (12.00 – 1.00pm).
Many divine and bodily graces will be received through this devotion. Our Lady promised she will hear any prayer we make at this time. Our Lord, my Divine Son Jesus, will send His overflowing mercy if good people will pray continuously for their sinful brother…. it is my wish that the Hour Of Grace For The World be made known and spread throughout the world.
The Fifteen Prayers Revealed by Our Lord to St. Bridget.
O Jesus! True and fruitful Vine! Remember the abundant outpouring of Blood which Thou didst so generously shed from Thy Sacred Body as juice from grapes in a wine press. From Thy Side, pierced with a lance by a soldier, blood and water issued forth until there was not left in Thy Body a single drop, and finally, like a bundle of myrrh lifted to the top of the Cross Thy delicate Flesh was destroyed, the very Substance of Thy Body withered, and the Marrow of Thy Bones dried up. Through this bitter Passion and through the outpouring of Thy Precious Blood, I beg of Thee, O Sweet Jesus, to receive my soul when I am in my death agony. Amen.
I greet you, ever-blessed Virgin, Mother of God and miracle of almighty power! I greet you, sanctuary of the Most Holy Trinity and Queen of the universe. Mother of mercy and refuge of sinners, attracted by your beauty and sweetness, as well as by your tender compassion, I confidently turn to you, unworthy as I am, and beg you to obtain for me of your dear Son the special intention I request in this novena, if it be the will of God.
For Sick Person: O admirable St. Sylvester, you lived through the persecutions of Diocletian and not only survived but flourished. Intercede for your namesake (Name of the person) and lay before the throne of Jesus our prayers for his/her recovery.
O Holy Innocents in the name of Jesus, for whom your blood was shed, pray for exploited and abused children. O Holy Innocents who, for the sake of the Christ Child your sacrifice was offered, intercede for the captive and suffering children. O Holy Innocents whose blood was sanctified by the precious blood of the Savior, preserve the purity and innocence of children and be their help and comfort.
Most loving Jesus, by Your sublime and beautiful virtues of humility, obedience, poverty, modesty, charity, patience, and gentleness, You blessed with peace and happiness the family which You chose on earth. In Your mercy look upon my family. We belong to You, for we have received Your many blessings over many years and we entrust ourselves to Your loving care.
O glorious St. Stephen, first Martyr for the Faith, filled with compassion for those who invoke you, with love for those who suffer, heavily laden with the weight of my troubles. I kneel at your feet and humbly beg you to take my present needs under your special protection.
O glorious St. John of the Cross, through a pure desire of being like Jesus crucified, you longed for nothing so eagerly as to suffer, to be despised, and to be made little of by all; and your thirst after sufferings was so burning that your noble heart rejoiced in the midst of the cruelest torments and afflictions.
Our Lady of Guadalupe, According to your message in Mexico I venerate you as “the Virgin Mother Of the true God for whom we live, The Creator of all the world, Maker of heaven and earth.” In spirit I kneel before your most holy Image Which you miraculously imprinted Upon the cloak of the Indian Juan Diego, And with the faith Of the countless numbers of pilgrims Who visit your shrine, I beg you for this favour: To be a generous, self-sacrificing, Faithful Marian Catechist all the days of my life.
O Immaculate Conception, Mary, my Mother, live in me, act in me, speak in and through me. Think your thoughts in my mind, love through my heart. Give me your own dispositions and feelings. Teach, lead and guide me to Jesus. Correct, enlighten and expand my entire personality and life. Replace me with yourself. Incline me to constant adoration and thanksgiving; pray in and through me. Let me live in you and keep me in this union always. Amen
Holy St. Ambrose, you are known as the “Honey Tongued Doctor” because of your ability to help others learn the Truth of Christianity. God blessed you with faith, understanding and the great ability to preach the sweet words of the Gospel. We invoke your powerful intercession, confident in the hope that you will hear our prayers and obtain for us abundant special graces from our heavenly Father.
Most amiable and most loving St. Francis Xavier, in union with thee I reverently adore the Divine Majesty. The remembrance of the favours with which God blessed thee during life, and of thy glory after death, fills me with joy. I implore thee to obtain for me, through thy powerful intercession, the inestimable blessing of living and dying in the state of grace. I also beseech thee to obtain the special favour I ask of this Novena.
Saint John Paul II with you: we confess our faith in God the Father almighty – source of all life; we trust in the words of the Lord Jesus, that whatever we ask for in His name, we will receive; we invoke the Holy Spirit who changes the face of the earth. Saint John Paul II, together with you, we are begging the Holy Trinity for the gift of wisdom and a righteous conscience for the South Australian Parliament. Obtain clarity of mind and heart sensitivity to the fate of unborn children. Amen.
Mary, you are the vessel and tabernacle containing all Mysteries. You know what the patriarchs did not know; you experienced what was not revealed to the Angels; you heard what the prophets did not hear. In short, everything that was hidden from preceding generations was made known to you; even more, most of these wonders depended on you.
O most merciful God,
who for the salvation of sinners
and the refuge of the wretched,
has made the Immaculate Heart of Mary
most like in tenderness and pity
to the Heart of Jesus,
grant that we,
who now commemorate her most sweet and loving heart,
may by her merits and intercession,
ever live in the fellowship of the hearts
of both Mother and Son,
through the same Christ our Lord.
God, please give to your Church today many more priests after your own heart. May they be worthy representatives of Christ the Good Shepherd. May they wholeheartedly devote themselves to prayer and penance; be examples of humility and poverty; shining models of holiness; tireless and powerful preachers of the Word of God; zealous dispensers of your grace in the sacraments. May their loving devotion to your Son Jesus in the Eucharist and to Mary his Mother be the twin fountains of fruitfulness for their ministry. Amen.

Your name, O Mother of God, is replete with all graces and Divine blessings. You have contained Him who cannot be contained, and nourished Him who nourishes all creatures. In that hour, vouchsafe, O my God!
to hear my prayer and grant my desires,
through the merits of Our Saviour Jesus Christ,
and of His Blessed Mother. Amen.
Remember, O most compassionate Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your assistance, or sought your intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, we fly unto you, O Virgin of Virgins, our Mother; to you we come; before you we kneel sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not our petitions,
but in your clemency hear and answer them. Amen. (…)
Almighty and eternal God!

I prostrate myself before Thee
and invoke with filial trust Thy supreme bounty and mercy.
Illumine the darkness of my intellect
with a ray of Thy heavenly light
and inflame my heart with the fire of Thy Divine love,
that I may contemplate the great virtues
and merits of Saint Catherine of Alexandria
in whose honor I make this novena,
and following her example imitate, like her,
the life of Thy Divine Son. (…)
Almighty and merciful God, you break the power of evil and make all things new in your Son Jesus Christ, the King of the universe. May all in heaven and earth acclaim your glory and never cease to praise you.
We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Show me thy countenance. Let thy words sound in my ears, for thy voice is sweet and thy countenance is beautiful.
Turn to us in thy beauty and loveliness!
Come forth in majesty and reign! (…)
Blessed Elizabeth, vessel elect of exalted virtues, thou dost show forth to the world by thy example what the virtues of Faith, Hope, and Charity are able to do in a Christian soul. I entrust to you my body and my soul,
my thoughts and my actions,
my life and my death.
come to my aid
and deliver me from the snares of the devil.
Obtain for me the grace of loving
my Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
with a true and perfect love,
and after Him, O Mary,
of loving you with all my heart
and above all things.
O Mary, my Queen,
I cast myself in the arms of your mercy.
I place my soul and body
in your blessed care
and under your special protection
from this world.
I entrust to you all my hopes and consolations,
all my anguish and misery,
my life and the end of my life.
Through your most holy intercession
and through your merits,
grant that all my works may be directed and carried out
in accord with your will
and the will of your divine Son.
Virgin full of grace,
I know that at Nazareth you lived modestly,
without requesting anything more.
Neither ecstasies, nor miracles, nor other extra ordinary deeds
enhanced your life,
O Queen of the elect.
The number of the lowly, “the little ones,” is very great on earth.
They can raise their eyes to your without any fear.
You are the incomparable Mother
who walks with them along the common way to guide them to heaven.
Beloved Mother, in this harsh exile,
I want to live always with you
and follow you every day.
I am enraptured by the contemplation of you and I discover the depths of the love of your heart.
All my fears vanish under your motherly gaze, which teaches me to weep and to rejoice!
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace:
where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
where there is sadness, joy.
O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console,
to be understood as to understand,
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
Most High, all powerful, good Lord,
yours are the praises, the glory, the honour
and all blessing. To you alone, Most High, do they belong
and no human is worthy to mention your name.Praised be you, my Lord, with all your creatures,
especially Sir Brother Sun,
who is the day and through whom you give us light.And he is beautiful and radiant with great splendour;
and bears a likeness of you, Most High One.
Praised be you, my Lord, through Sister Moon and the stars:
in heaven you formed them clear and precious and beautiful. (…)
Almighty, eternal, just and merciful God,
grant us in our misery the grace
to do for You alone
what we know You want us to do,
and always to desire what pleases You.
Thus, inwardly cleansed,
and inflamed by the fire of the Holy Spirit,
may we be able to follow in the footprints
of Your beloved Son,
our Lord Jesus Christ.
And, by Your grace alone,
may we make our way to You,
Who live and rule
in perfect Trinity and simple Unity,
and are glorified God all-powerful
forever and ever.
enlighten the darkness of my heart
and give me, Lord,
a certain hope,
a perfect charity,
sense and knowledge
so that I may carry out
Your holy and true command.
Hail, O Lady,
Mary, holy Mother of God:
you are the Virgin made church
and the one chosen by the most holy Father in heaven
whom he consecrated
with his most holy beloved Son
and the Holy Spirit the Paraclete,
in whom there was and is
all the fullness of grace and every good. (…)
May Jesus comfort you
in all your afflictions.
May He sustain you in dangers,
watch over you always with His grace,
and indicate the safe path
that leads to eternal salvation.
And may He render you
always dearer to His Divine Heart
and always more worthy of Paradise. Amen.
Lord, God of my heart,
You alone know and see all my troubles.
You alone are aware that all my distress
springs from my fear of losing You,
of offending You, from my fear of not loving You
as much as I should love and desire to love You.
If You, to whom everything is present
and who alone can see the future,
know that it is for Your greater glory
and for my salvation that I should remain
in this state, then let it be so.
I don’t want to escape from it.
Give me the strength to fight
and to obtain the prize due to strong souls.
Oh my Jesus, give me Your strength when my weak nature rebels against the distress and suffering of this life of exile, and enable me to accept everything with serenity and peace. With my whole strength I cling to Your merits, Your sufferings, Your expiation, and Your tears, so that I may be able to cooperate with You in the work of salvation. Give me strength to fly from sin, the only cause of Your agony, Your sweat of blood, and Your death. Destroy in me all that displeases You and fill my heart with the fire of Your holy love and all Your sufferings. Clasp me tenderly, firmly, close to You that I may never leave You alone in Your cruel Passion. I ask only for a place of rest in Your Heart. Amen.
O Lord, we ask for a boundless confidence and trust in Your divine mercy, and the courage to accept the crosses and sufferings which bring immense goodness to our souls and that of Your Church. Help us to love You with a pure and contrite heart, and to humble ourselves beneath Your cross, as we climb the mountain of holiness, carrying our cross that leads to heavenly glory. May we receive You with great faith and love in Holy Communion, and allow You to act in us as You desire for your greater glory. O Jesus, most adorable Heart and eternal fountain of Divine Love, may our prayer find favor before the Divine Majesty of Your heavenly Father.
O Mary, Virgin most powerful and Mother of mercy, Queen of heaven and Refuge of sinners, we consecrate ourselves to your Immaculate Heart. We consecrate to you our very being and our whole life; all that we have, all that we love, all that we are. To you we give our bodies, our hearts and our souls; to you we give our homes, our families, our country. We desire that all that is in us and around us may belong to you, and may share in the benefits of your motherly benediction. (…)
Teach us, we pray, humility of heart, so that we may be counted among the little ones of the Gospel to whom the Father promised to reveal the mysteries of His Kingdom. Help us to pray without ceasing, certain that God knows what we need even before we ask Him. Obtain for us the eyes of faith that will help us recognize in the poor and suffering, the very face of Jesus. Sustain us in the hour of trouble and trial and, if we fall, let us experience the joy of the sacrament of forgiveness. Grant us your tender devotion to Mary, mother of Jesus and our Mother. Accompany us on our earthly pilgrimage toward the blessed Homeland, where we too, hope to arrive to contemplate forever the Glory of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen
Stay with me, Lord, for it is necessary to have You present so that I do not forget You. You know how easily I abandon You. Stay with me, Lord, because I am weak and I need Your strength, that I may not fall so often. Stay with me, Lord, for You are my life, and without You, I am without fervor. Stay with me, Lord, for You are my light, and without You, I am in darkness. (…)
(…) O God, Who in Thine ineffable providence didst choose Blessed Joseph to be the spouse of Thy most Holy Mother, grant that as we venerate him as our protector on earth, we may deserve to have him as our intercessor in Heaven, Thou Who livest and reignest forever and ever. R. Amen.
Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel;
he has come to his people and set them free.
He has raised up for us a mighty savior,
born of the house of his servant David.
Through his holy prophets he promised of old
that he would save us from our enemies,
from the hands of all who hate us. (…)
My God, I offer You this Rosary for Your glory, so I can honor your Holy Mother, the Blessed Virgin, so I can share and meditate upon her suffering. I humbly beg you to give me true repentance for all my sins. Give me wisdom and humility, so that I may receive all the indulgences contained in this prayer. (…)
Our mother of sorrows, with strength from above you stood by the cross, sharing in the sufferings of Jesus, and with tender care you bore him in your arms, mourning and weeping.
We praise you for your faith, which accepted the life God planned for you. We praise you for your hope, which trusted that God would do great things in you. We praise you for your love in bearing with Jesus the sorrows of his passion.
Holy Mary, may we follow your example, and stand by all your children who need comfort and love.
Mother of God, stand by us in our trials and care for us in our many needs. Pray for us now and at the hour of our death.
On a dark night,
Kindled in love with yearnings – oh, happy chance! –
I went forth without being observed,
My house being now at rest. …
O God, who willed that your Only Begotten Son should undergo the Cross to save the human race, grant, we pray, that we, who have known his mystery on earth, may merit the grace of his redemption in heaven. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
This litany to the Blessed Virgin Mary was composed during the Middle Ages. The place of honor it now holds in the life of the Church is due to its faithful use at the shrine of the Holy House at Loreto. Its titles and invocations set before us Mary’s exalted privileges, her holiness of life, her amiability and power, her motherly spirit and queenly majesty.

O Blessed Virgin Mary, who can worthily give you the just dues of praise and thanksgiving, you who by the wondrous assent of your will rescued a fallen world? O Mother of Jesus, and my Mother, let me dwell with you, cling to you and love you with ever-increasing love. I promise the honour, love and trust of a child. Give me a mother’s protection, for I need your watchful care. You know better than any other the thoughts and desires of the Sacred Heart….

St. Michael, since you are, by the Will of the Creator, the powerful intercessor of Christians, I have great confidence in your prayers. I earnestly trust that if it is God’s holy Will, my petition will be granted.
We fly to thy protection, O holy Mother of God.
Despise not our petitions in our necessities,
but deliver us always from all dangers
O glorious and blessed Virgin.
Hail, thou most sublime Queen of Peace, most holy Mother of God! By the Sacred Heart of Jesus, thy Son, the “Prince of Peace,” appease His anger and obtain that He may reign over us in peace.
At her Annunciation, Mary’s initial response to the presence and words of the angel was anxious fear. She could easily sympathize with the reaction of fear which overcame the two children at her sudden appearance on the Holy Mountain of La Salette. Her words, like those of the angel, were most welcome and reassuring.
Our Lady of Sorrows,
we end as we began nine days ago:
with Mary, weeping silently beside the cross.
weeping for the innocent child so violently taken,
weeping for the nation which has let him die,
weeping for her Child and for our,
we place them both in her arms.
Jesus, Who because of Your burning love for us willed to be crucified and to shed Your Most Precious Blood for the redemption and salvation of our souls, look down upon us and grant the petition we ask for
(State your intention here…)
We trust completely in Your Mercy. Cleanse us from sin by Your Grace, sanctify our work, give us and all those who are dear to us our daily bread, lighten the burden of our sufferings, bless our families, and grant to the nations, so sorely afflicted, Your Peace, which is the only true peace, so that by obeying Your Commandments we may come at last to the glory of Heaven.

O great Mother of God and my Mother Mary, it is true that I am unworthy to name thee; but thou, who lovest me and desirest my salvation, must, notwithstanding the impurity of my tongue, grant that I may always invoke thy most holy and powerful name in my aid, for thy name is the succor of the living, and the salvation of the dying. Ah, most pure Mary, most sweet Mary, grant that henceforth thy name may be the breath of my life. O Lady, delay not to help me when I invoke thee, for in all the temptations which assail me, and in all my wants, I will never cease calling upon thee, and repeating again and again, Mary, Mary. Thus it is that I hope to act during my life, and more particularly at death, that after that last struggle I may eternally praise thy beloved name in heaven, O clement, O pious, O sweet Virgin Mary.
We Fly to thy patronage, O holy Mother of God. Despise not our petitions in our necessities, and deliver us from all dangers, O ever glorious and blessed Virgin!
Do you know Jesus? Is He in your heart, in your thoughts and actions? Do you find him in other people, as well as, the Tabernacle and the Holy Eucharist?
Thought For The Day: “Don’t search for Jesus in far lands; He is not there. He is close to you; He is in you.”
Sketch of St Mother Teresa of Calcutta.
Request: Ask for the grace of an intimate knowledge of Jesus.
Prayer: Saint Teresa of Calcutta, you allowed the thirsting love of Jesus on the Cross to become a living flame within you, and so became the light of His love to all.
Obtain from the Heart of Jesus… (This my request).

My Lord Jesus Christ, who for the love you bear us, remain night and day in this Sacrament, full of compassion and of love, awaiting, calling and welcoming all who come to visit you. I believe that you are present in the Sacrament of the Altar. I adore you from the abyss of my nothingness and I thank you for all the graces you have given me until now, and in particular, for having given me your Most Holy Mother Mary as my advocate and for having called me to visit you in this church.
Prayers of devotion to the Holy Face of Jesus are a special way to honor our Lord and make reparation for all the Blasphemies (insulting or disrespectful thoughts or behavior) He has endured over the centuries since His Passion at Calvary.
It is a devotion that was first heard of through a Carmelite Nun named Sister Mary of St. Peter in France, 1844, who stated Our Lord revealed this devotion to her at Mount Carmel. Sister Mary of St. Peter stated that Our Lord wanted this devotion to be spread throughout the world with the goal of making reparation for the sins which offend God.
O Mary, Queen of All Hearts, Advocate of the most hopeless cases; Mother most pure, most compassionate; Mother of Divine Love, full of divine light, we confide to your care the petitions which we humbly ask of you today.
Consider our misery, our tears, our interior trials and sufferings. We know that you can help us through the merits of your Divine Son, Jesus. We promise, if our prayers are heard, to spread your glory by making you known under the title of “Mary, Queen of All Hearts, Queen of the Universe.”
Grant, we beseech you, hear our prayers, for every day you give us so many proofs of your love and intercession to heal both body and soul. We hope against all hope; ask Jesus to cure us, pardon us, and grant us final perseverance.
O most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, we praise your Holy Name and the wonders of grace you worked in your servant, Saint Clare.
Through her powerful intercession grant us the favours we beg in this novena, above all the grace to live and die as she did in your most Holy Love. Amen.
O Most Holy Virgin! You were chosen by the Most Adorable Trinity from all eternity to be the most pure Mother of Jesus. O Tender Mother of the afflicted! Grant me under my present necessities that special protection You have promised to those who devoutly commemorate this ineffable joy. Relying on the infinite mercies of your Divine Son, trusting in the promise which He has made that those who ask should receive, and penetrated with confidence in your powerful prayers, I most humbly entreat you intercede for me. I beg you to obtain for me the favours which I petition for in this novena, if it be the Holy Will of God to grant them; to ask for me whatever graces I most stand in need of.
O Mary Immaculate Queen, look down upon this distressed and suffering world. Thou knowest our misery and our weakness. O thou who art our Mother, saving us in the hour of peril, have compassion on us in these days of great and heavy trial.
Jesus has confided to thee the treasure of His grace, and through thee He wills to grant us pardon and mercy. In these hours of anguish, therefore, thy children come to Thee as their hope.
We recognize thy Queenship and ardently desire thy triumph. We need a Mother and a Mother’s Heart. Thou art for us the luminous dawn which dissipates our darkness and points out the way to life. In thy clemency obtain for us the courage and the confidence of which we have such need.
Most Holy and Adorable Trinity, Thou Who didst crown with glory in Heaven the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Savior, grant that all her children on earth may acknowledge her as their Sovereign Queen, that all hearts, homes, and nations may recognize her rights as Mother and as Queen. Amen.

Lift my heart with you in the glory of your Assumption above the dreadful touch of sin and impurity. Teach me how small earth becomes when viewed from heaven. Make me realize that death is the triumphant gate through which I shall pass to your Son, and that someday my body shall rejoin my soul in the unending bliss of heaven.
From this earth, over which I tread as a pilgrim, I look to you for help. I ask for this favor: (Mention your request).
When my hour of death has come, lead me safely to the presence of Jesus to enjoy the vision of my God for all eternity together with you. I ask this through Christ our Lord, Amen.
O holy Saint Augustine, who has famously declared that “Our hearts were made for you, O Lord, and they are restless until they rest in you.”, aid me in my own search for our Lord that through your intercession I may be granted the wisdom to determine the purpose God has planned for me. Pray that I be blessed with the courage to follow God’s will even at times when I do not understand. Ask our Lord to lead me to a life worthy of His love, that I may one day share the riches of His kingdom. Through the Militia of the Immaculata movement, which Maximilian founded, he spread a fervent devotion to Our Lady throughout the world. He gave up his life for a total stranger and loved his persecutors, giving us an example of unselfish love for all men, a love that was inspired by true devotion to Mary.
Grant, O Lord Jesus, that we too may give ourselves entirely without reserve to the love and service of our Heavenly Queen in order to better love and serve our fellowman in imitation of your humble servant, Maximilian. Amen.
Three Hail Marys and a Glory Be.
O renowned champion of the faith of Christ, most holy saint Dominic, who didst renounce the honour and dignity of an earthly principality to embrace the poor, laborious, and mortified life which should distinguish a disciple of Him Who has said: “If any man will come after Me, let him take up his cross and follow Me. “
Mary, teach me to trust in God that God will provide what is needed for me to be a person of action, for action requires faith in God and trust in his word to accomplish great things for the Kingdom.

Dear St. Bonaventure Cardinal, Bishop and Doctor of the Church, you chose a life that embraced mortification and great humiliation. Choosing to serve those individuals who were rejected and sick you risked illness for yourself. You made your life a continuous prayer and spent hours meditating on the wounds of Christ. Please pray for us that we may have a sincere and humble heart. Pray that we may not lose sight of Jesus’ wounds and thus walk on the straight path to eternal salvation. May we take a great many souls with us to Our Heavenly Father.
Glorious St. Benedict, sublime model of virtue, pure vessel of God’s grace! Behold me humbly kneeling at your feet. I implore you in your loving kindness to pray for me before the throne Of God. To you I have recourse in the dangers that daily surround me. Shield me against my selfishness and my indifference to God and to my neighbor. Inspire me to imitate you in all things. May your blessing be with me always, so that I may see and serve Christ in others and work for His kingdom.
Graciously obtain for me from God those favors and graces which I need so much in the trials, miseries and afflictions of life. Your heart was always full of love, compassion and mercy toward those who were afflicted or troubled in any way. You never dismissed without consolation and assistance anyone who had recourse to you. I therefore invoke your powerful intercession, confident in the hope that you will hear my prayer and obtain for me the special grace and favor I earnestly implore (name it).
Help me, great St. Benedict. to live and die as a faithful child of God, to run in the sweetness of His loving will and to attain the eternal happiness of heaven. Amen.
Oh Lady of Light, Owner of all Graces, Cover us with your mantle resplendent, For you are the Light that Guides us through darkness, And through your immense mercy, You give us strength and nourishment to follow our path, That takes us to you, Oh Full of Grace.
The Apostle of the Rosary! “If you are looking for salvation, propagate the Rosary. It is Mary’s promise: whoever propagates the Rosary will be saved.” The Novena consists of 15 decades of the Rosary each day for twenty-seven days in petition; then immediately 15 decades each day for twenty-seven days in thanksgiving, whether or not the request has been granted. This is a 54 days novena.
Oh Mother of Perpetual Help, grant that I may ever invoke your powerful name, the protection of the living and the salvation of the dying. Purest Mary, let your name henceforth be ever on my lips. Delay not, Blessed Lady, to rescue me whenever I call on you. In my temptations, in my needs, I will never cease to call on you, ever repeating your sacred name, Mary, Mary. What a consolation, what sweetness, what confidence fills my soul when I utter your sacred name or even only think of you! I thank the Lord for having given you so sweet, so powerful, so lovely a name. But I will not be content with merely uttering your name. Let my love for you prompt me ever to hail you Mother of Perpetual Help. Mother of Perpetual Help, pray for me and grant me the favor I confidently ask of you.
We know, Lord, that we will never be worthy of that which we hope to obtain. Like beggars, all we do is put out our hand entirely trusting in Your compassion. Lord, we believe in You, increase our faith!
We are now in Your presence before the Host. We trust in You.
O Most Blessed Mother, heart of love, heart of mercy, ever listening, caring, consoling, hear my prayer. As your child, I implore your intercession
with Jesus your Son. Receive with understanding and compassion the petitions I place before you today, especially…
Our Lady of Fatima Promises all the Graces Necessary for Heaven if a Catholic Finishes the Five First Saturdays Devotion.
O Eternal Father Who are in heaven where You do crown the merits of those who in this world serve you faithfully for the sake of the most pure love Your little daughter Theresa of the Child Jesus had for You so as all but to bind You to give her whatever she desires seeing that while on earth she always did Your will incline Your ears to the petitions which she offers up to You on my (our) behalf and hear too my (our) prayers by granting me (us) the grace I (we) ask.
Holy Spirit, third Person of the Blessed Trinity, Spirit of truth, love and holiness, proceeding from the Father and the Son, and equal to Them in all things, I adore You and love You with all my heart.
To gain an indulgence attached to a prayer, it is sufficient to recite the prayer alternately with a companion or to follow it mentally while it is being recited by another. The faithful also can gain a plenary indulgence each day of the year, however no one can gain more than one plenary indulgence in the course of a single day: (1) Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament for at least one half an hour (2) Devout reading of the Sacred Scriptures for at least one half an hour (3) The pious exercise of the Way of the Cross (4) The recitation of the Marian Rosary in a church or public oratory or in a family group, a religious Community or pious Association.
Willingness to hear the word of God is a sign of predestination. Just like the exile, who awaits and gladly hears news from his homeland, shows that he loves his country, so too the Christian who listens attentively to him who speaks of the heavenly fatherland may say that his heart is directed towards heaven.”
Taking that sweet Ave, which from Gabriel came, peace confirm within us, changing Eve’s name.
O Holy Patroness of those in need, Saint Rita, whose pleadings before thy Divine Lord are almost irresistible, who for thy lavishness in granting favours hast been called the Advocate of the hopeless and even of the Impossible; Saint Rita, so humble, so pure, so mortified, so patient and of compassionate love for thy Crucified Jesus that thou couldst obtain from him whatsoever thou askest, on account of which all confidently have recourse to thee, expecting, if not always relief, at least comfort; be propitious to our petition, showing thy power with God on behalf of thy suppliant; be lavish to us, as thou hast been in so many wonderful cases, for the greater glory of God, for the spreading of thine own devotion, and for the consolation of those who trust in thee.
The Magnificat, taken from Luke’s Gospel (1:46-55), is the Blessed Virgin Mary’s hymn of praise to the Lord. It is also known as the Canticle of Mary in the Liturgy of the Hours, a special collection of scripture readings, psalms, and hymns that constitute what is known as the prayer of the church.
Mother, help our faith! Open our ears to hear God’s word and to recognise his voice and call. Awaken in us a desire to follow in his footsteps, to go forth from our own land and to receive his promise. Help us to be touched by his love, that we may touch him in faith. Help us to entrust ourselves fully to him and to believe in his love, especially at times of trial, beneath the shadow of the cross, when our faith is called to mature. Sow in our faith the joy of the Risen One. Remind us that those who believe are never alone. Teach us to see all things with the eyes of Jesus, that he may be light for our path. And may this light of faith always increase in us, until the dawn of that undying day which is Christ himself, your Son, our Lord!
Most Holy Virgin, who has deigned to come to Fatima to reveal to the three little shepherds the treasures of graces hidden in the recitation of the Rosary, inspire our hearts with a sincere love of this devotion, so that by meditating on the mysteries of our redemption that are recalled in it, we may gather the fruits and obtain the conversion of sinners, the conversion of Russia, and this favor that I so earnestly seek (State your request here ) which I ask of you in this novena, for the greater glory of God, for your own honor, and for the good of all people. Amen.
Recite the following prayers… 3 x Our Father… 3 x Hail Mary’s… 3 x Glory Be…
Jesus asked St Faustina that the Feast of the Divine Mercy be preceded by a Novena to the Divine Mercy which would begin on Good Friday. He gave St. Faustina an intention to pray for on each day of the Novena, saving the most difficult intention for the last day, to pray for the ‘lukewarm and indifferent’, of whom He said: “These souls cause Me more suffering than any others; it was from such souls that My soul felt the most revulsion in the Garden of Olives. It was on their account that I said: ‘My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass Me by.’ The last hope of salvation for them is to flee to My Mercy.”
The surrender novena was written by Fr. Don Dolindo Rutolo. He was a contemporary of Padre Pio, living as a priest in a nearby village in Italy. Father Don always encouraged those he interacted with to give their worries to God but more importantly to allow Him to care for those needs in His own wisdom and way.
When you cannot receive the Eucharist at Mass, the Church encourages us to make an act of “spiritual communion,” where we unite ourselves to God through prayer. It is a beautiful way to express to God our desire to be united with him when we are unable to complete that union in the reception of Holy Communion.
Adoption can be undertaken for any priest for 12 months (this time can be extended at any time). This is done in response to our call as faithful to be in solidarity with our pastors and to answer the Church’s call for prayer for priests that they, united to the Heart of Christ, may always be true witnesses to the caring and merciful love of God. “My children, as Mother I tell you: you cannot walk the way of faith and follow my Son without your priests. Pray that they have the strength and love to guide you. Your prayers are always with them. Thank you.” – Our Lady of Medjugorje said on July 2, 2019
Daily Prayer for the conversion of a person whom salvation is at risk with Mary – Helper of Mankind.
The Community “with Mary – helper of Mankind” originated as a response to the desires of the heart of Jesus and Mary, and is immersed in the Church’s mission, “to save”. A spiritual Community of people dedicated to Mary, who daily pray for the conversion of people. Each Member of the community is praying for the salvation of a person chosen by God. Don’t get discouraged when one day you forget about the prayer.
Novena to the Most Holy Trinity a request for graces through the intercession of Servant of God Fr. Venance
During the short life of Father Venance, he helped Maksymilian Kolbe create catholic media and he appeared as a great preacher. He assured his fellow brothers that he would do the most … after his death. That’s what happened. The problem with finding a job, buying a car, paying off a high loan, business problems, as well as onerous health ailments – many witnesses confirm that this monk solves every case effectively. On April 27, 2016, Pope Francis approved the decree of heroic virtue for Servant of God Wenanty Katarzyniec (or, as he is known in English speaking circles, Father Vincent Catherine), setting him on the path for possible beatification.
Almighty and eternal God, merciful Father, who hast given to the human race Thy beloved Son as an example of humility, obedience, and patience, to precede us on the way of life, bearing the cross: Graciously grant us that we, inflamed by His infinite love, may take up the sweet yoke of His Gospel together the mortification of the cross, following Him as His true disciples, so that we shall one day gloriously rise with Him and joyfully hear the final sentence: “Come, ye blessed of my Father, and possess the kingdom which was prepared for you from the beginning,” where Thou reignest with the Son and the Holy Ghost, and where we hope to reign with Thee, world without end. AMEN.
The Blessed Virgin Mary promised to Saint Dominic and to all who follow that “Whatever you ask in the Rosary will be granted.” She left for all Christians Fifteen Promises to those who recite the Holy Rosary. Imparted to Saint Dominic and Blessed Alan.
This Annunciation Novena, more commonly referred to as the “Novena for Impossible Requests,” begins on the Feast of the Annunciation March 25th and ends nine months later, on Christmas Day December 25th.
This exquisite seven-century-old devotion, broadly speaking a litany, was composed and was daily recited by the Seraphic Mother St. Clare of Assisi, foundress of the Second Order of St. Francis, the Poor Ladies or Clares.
Our Lord’s Promises Attached To The Praying Of The Chaplet Of Divine Mercy As Revealed To St. Faustina Kowalska
The Franciscan Crown, also called the Rosary of the Seven Joys of the Blessed Virgin, dates back to the year 1422. The story is told of a pious young man who had been admitted to the Franciscan Order in that year. Prior to his joining the Order, it had been his custom to adorn a statue of the Blessed Virgin with a wreath of fresh and beautiful flowers, as a mark of his devotion to Mary. Being unable to continue this practice once he was in the Order, he became dejected and eventually decided to leave the Order and return to the world.
Be blessed, O most pure Virgin, for having vouchsafed to manifest your shining with life, sweetness and beauty, in the Grotto of Lourdes, saying to the child, St. Bernadette: ‘I am the Immaculate Conception. ‘ A thousand times we congratulate you upon your Immaculate Conception. And now, O ever Immaculate Virgin, Mother of mercy, Health of the sick, Refuge of sinners, Comforter of the afflicted, you know our wants, our troubles, our sufferings deign to cast upon us a look of mercy.
The Church fully approved message of the Flame of Love of the Immaculate Heart of Mary which was given to Elizabeth Kindelmann of Budapest, Hungary from 1961 to 1982 from Our Lord and Our Blessed Mother. The Blessed Virgin has proclaimed that while these prayers are recited, “no dying soul in that neighbourhood will be damned” and that her Flame of Love will extend even to the poor souls in Purgatory and their families. (Virgo Incoronata, 2003) With this prayer, you will blind Satan.
What are these knots? There are the problems and struggles we face for which we do not see any solution … knots of discord in your family, lack of understanding between parents and children, disrespect, violence, the knots of deep hurts between husband and wife, the absence of peace and joy at home. There are also the knots of anguish and despair of separated couples, the dissolution of the family, the knots of a drug addict son or daughter, sick or separated from home or God, knots of alcoholism, the practice of abortion, depression, unemployment, fear, solitude…Ah, the knots of our life! How they suffocate the soul, beat us down and betray the heart’s joy and separate us from God. Day after day, more and more Christians kneel to pray to Her. Many families have become reconciled! Many diseases have been healed! Many spouses have returned to the Church! Many jobs have been given! Many conversions have taken place! Many Catholics have been on their knees praying and giving thanks for graces received from our sweet Mother. For that reason, Mary Who undoes the knots, Who was chosen by God to crush the evil with Her feet, comes to us to reveal Herself. She comes to provide jobs, good health, to reconcile families, because She wants to undo the knots of our sins which dominate our lives, so that – as sons of the King – we can receive the promises reserved for us from eternity. She comes with promises of victory, peace, blessings and reconciliation.
O Jesus, I pray for your faithful and fervent priests; for your unfaithful and tepid priests; for your priests laboring at home or abroad in distant mission fields; for your tempted priests; for your lonely and desolate priests; for your young priests; for your dying priests; for the souls of your priests in Purgatory. But above all, I recommend to you the priests dearest to me: the priest who baptized me; the priests who’ve absolved me from my sins; the priests at whose Masses I’ve assisted and who’ve given me Your Body and Blood in Holy Communion; the priests who’ve taught and instructed me; all the priests to whom I am indebted in any other way, especially ____ O Jesus, keep them all close to your heart, and bless them abundantly in time and in eternity. Amen.
O wonderful St. Anthony, glorious on account of the fame of your miracles, and through the condescension of Jesus in coming in the form of a little child to rest in your arms, obtain for me of His bounty the grace which I ardently desire from the depths of my heart . . . . You who were so compassionate toward miserable sinners, regard not the unworthiness of those who pray to you, but the glory of God that it may once again be magnified by the granting of the particular request . . . . which I now ask for with persevering earnestness. Amen
St. Anthony, your love for the infant Jesus made him present to you to see and hold in your arms. Help us to see and love Jesus in all the poor and suffering of the world. Move us to clothe, feed and help Jesus, in all unwanted, abused and abandoned children and people. Lead us, for the sake of Jesus, who became a child like one of us, to reverence and protect all human life from its beginning to its end. Amen.
Divine Infant, after the wonders of Your birth in Bethlehem, You wished to extend Your infinite mercy to the whole world by calling the Wise Men by heavenly inspiration to Your crib, which was in this way changed into a royal throne. You graciously received those holy men who were obedient to the divine call and hastened to Your feet. They recognized and worshipped You as Prince of Peace, the Redeemer of mankind, and the very Son of God.
O my Jesus, I beg you on behalf of the whole Church: Grant it love and the light of your Spirit, and give power to the words of priests so that hardened hearts might be brought to repentance and return to you, O Lord. Lord, give us holy priests; you yourself maintain them in holiness. O Divine and Great High Priest, may the power of your mercy accompany them everywhere and protect them from the devil’s traps and snares which are continually being set for the souls of priests. May the power of your mercy, O Lord, shatter and bring to naught all that might tarnish the sanctity of priests, for you can do all things.
Divine Jesus, listen to the prayer I am turning to you for he who wishes to be your missionary: protect him in the midst of dangers in the world; make him feel more and more the nothingness and vanity of fleeting things and happiness in knowing how to despise them for your love. Your sublime apostolate is already exerted over those who surround him: may he be an apostle, worthy of your Sacred Heart. Oh Mary, sweet Queen of Carmel, I entrust to you the soul of this future priest. Teach him from now with how much love you touched the Divine Child Jesus and how you wrapped him in swaddling clothes so that he one day might go up the Holy Altar and carry the King of Heaven in his hands. I ask you again to always protect him in the shade of your virginal mantle until the happy moment when, on leaving this valley of tears, he will be able to contemplate your splendor and enjoy the fruit of his glorious apostolate for the whole of eternity!
Saint John Paul II, you taught the world through word and example that Jesus is the face of the Father’s merciful love. You called upon the world to “be not afraid” and “open wide the doors for Christ.” Now, through your powerful intercession, show us that the love of God is living and active, stronger than all the forces of the world, the flesh, and the devil. Through your prayers, help us in every need and deliver us from every evil. May we always know by experience the love of God the Father, mediated through Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Most High, all-powerful, good Lord, yours is the praise, the glory and the honour and every blessing. To you alone, Most High, do they belong, and no one is worthy to speak your name. Praised be you, my Lord with all your creatures, especially Sir Brother Sun, who is the day through whom you bring us light. And he is lovely, shining with great splendour, for he heralds you, Most High. Praised be you, my Lord, through Sister Moon and Stars. In heaven you have formed them, lightsome and precious and fair. And praised be you, my Lord, through Brother Wind, through air and cloud, through calm and every weather by which you sustain your creatures. Praised be you, my Lord, through Sister Water, so very useful and humble, precious and chaste. Praised be you, my Lord through Brother Fire, by whom you light up the night, and he is handsome and merry, robust and strong. Praised be you, my Lord, through our Sister, Mother Earth, who sustains us and directs us bringing forth all kinds of fruits and coloured flowers and herbs. Praised be you, my Lord through those who forgive for your love and who bear sickness and trial. Blessed are those who endure in peace, for by you, Most High, they will be crowned. Praised be you, my Lord, through our Sister Bodily Death from whom no living being can escape. How dreadful for those who die in mortal sin! How blessed are those she finds in your most holy will for the second death can do them no harm. O praise and bless my Lord, thank him and serve him humbly but grandly!
Poor and humble Saint Francis, through your kind intercession we seek to love God above all things. We seek the faith, hope and love that moved you to joyfully renounce honors and riches and to radically follow our Lord Jesus Christ.
O my Jesus, you have said: “Truly I say to you, ask and you will receive, seek and you will find, knock and it will be opened to you.” Behold I knock, I seek and ask for the grace of …… (here name your request)
Beloved St. Pio of Pietrelcina, you have had the signs of the Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ on your body. You have carried this stigmata for everyone, enduring both the physical and mental sufferings that racked your soul and body in a continual sacrifice. We beg you to pray for us, so that we will be able to accept both the little and the larger crosses we too must bear during our life on earth and to offer these sufferings to God, assuring us a place with him in Eternal Life.
I am knocking at the door of your heart because I want you to open it to me. Do you realize that it is with my own hands that I am bringing you this book as a gift? I am offering it to you with a mother’s care so that you, in your turn, upon reading it, will learn to live the way of Heaven and no longer that of earth.
In the following prayer most of the significant areas will be covered. Often such a prayer will bring to mind other areas that need forgiveness. Let the Holy Spirit move freely and guide your mind to persons or groups that you need to forgive.
O Mary, Virgin most powerful and Mother of Mercy, Queen of Heaven and Refuge of Sinners, we consecrate ourselves to thy Immaculate Heart. We consecrate to thee our very being and our whole life: all that we have, all that we love, all that we are.
Those who wear the Brown Scapular: “I, the Mother of Grace, shall descend on the Saturday after their death and whomsoever I shall find in Purgatory, I shall free, so that I may lead them to the holy mountain of life everlasting.”
This prayer was found in the 50th year of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In 1505, it was sent from the pope to Emperor Charles when he was going into battle. Whoever shall read this prayer or hear it or keep it about themselves, shall never die a sudden death or be drowned, nor shall poison take effect on them; neither shall they fall into the hands of the enemy or be burned in any fire or be overpowered in battle. Say for nine mornings for anything you desire. It has never been known to fail
I have made a pact with the Lord: when my soul has been purified in the flames of purgatory and deemed worthy to be admitted to the presence of God, I will take my place at the gate to paradise, but I shall not enter until I have seen the last of my spiritual children enter.” ~ St. Pio, from a letter to spiritual daughter Antonietta Pompilio
The Milk Grotto is considered sacred because the Holy Family took refuge there before their flight into Egypt to escape King Herod’s slaughter of the innocent firstborns. It is said that while Mary was nursing Jesus, a drop of milk fell to the ground, turning the cave white. Stories abound from the Grotto in the Holy Land, and the shrine in St. Augustine, about children born to parents who had struggled for years to conceive or had been told there was no hope.
Most Precious Blood of Jesus Christ , Most Precious Blood of Jesus Christ , Most Precious Blood of Jesus Christ , Most Precious Blood of Jesus Christ , Most Precious Blood, save the world.
Blood of Christ, only-begotten Son of the eternal Father, save us.
Blood of Christ, Incarnate Word or God, save us. Blood of Christ, of the New and Eternal Testament, save us.
Blood of Christ, falling upon the earth in Agony, save us. Blood of Christ, shed profusely in the Scourging, save us.
And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give to him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there will be no end.” And Mary said to the angel, “How shall this be, since I have no husband?” And the angel said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be called holy, the Son of God. And behold, your kinswoman Elizabeth in her old age has also conceived a son; and this is the sixth month with her who was called barren. For with God nothing will be impossible.” And Mary said, “Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her.
Oh, most beautiful flower of Mount Carmel, fruitful vine, splendor of Heaven. Oh, Blessed Mother of the Son of God; Immaculate Virgin, assist me in my necessity. Oh, Star of the Sea, help me and show me you are my Mother. Oh, Holy Mary, Mother of God, Queen of Heaven and Earth, I humbly beseech you from the bottom of my heart to succor me in my necessity (mention your request here). There are none that can withstand your power.
I promise you, in the excessive mercy of my Heart that my all powerful love will grant to all those who receive Holy Communion on the first Friday for nine consecutive months, the grace of final repentance; they shall not die in my disgrace nor without receiving the sacraments; my divine Heart shall be their safe refuge in that last moment.
